Plantain leaf is one of the quiet treasures of our herb garden. Its broad green leaves may be easy to overlook, but we love the simple beauty of a plant that grows close to the earth. This is garden plantain, a leafy herb, not the fruit that shares its name.
At Beloved Acres Farm, we tend our herbs by hand from planting through harvest. We use certified organic seeds whenever possible, control weeds by hand, and never use pesticides on our herbs. We carefully gather the leaves and dry them slowly at a low temperature to help retain their natural green color.
